April is the time of the year when life is burgeoning all around us. It's a month for exploring and forging connections with our fellow inhabitants of our amazing home.  Maybe we're all just a little bit wild, on the inside? Let's reflect on our own childhoods and find a couple of ways to care for some of the wild ones around us.

THIS WEEK IN RELIGIOUS EXPLORATION!

Last Sunday in RE, kids and adults created - and illustrated - an awesome progressive story, which turned out to be adventurous, funny, and very creative. We read the booklet aloud in the MMR, after everyone wove together a collective poem in the service. So kids got to take part in the creative process and flow and fun of the day!

THIS Sunday we are preparing for a wonderful multigenerational service led by Rev. Dan! The service will offer a story-play version of The Velveteen Rabbit. 

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! We have filled most of the children's roles, but if you have a child who wants to participate and we have not yet spoken, please contact me ASAP!

ADULTS: We have parts (and understudy parts!) available - please contact me ASAP to volunteers. We really need 3-4 adults to sign up to participate (or be a backup) in the play, so please let me know if I can count on you. mcfavell@uupok.org.
