Staying Connected

During COVID19, we are all dealing with our own challenges. We hope the information in this section will help you feel connected to UUism and our Fellowship family and the world.

Setting Up Your Realm Profile

Realm is a church ministry tool adopted by UUFP that connects the entire Fellowship and personalizes everyone's involvement in Fellowship activities. It also serves as the source for our Fellowship Directory. (fka Membership Directory).

Download Guide: A guide was created to assist you in accessing your Realm profile. You can download it here.

Virtual Tours

Social distancing and self-isolation have become necessary to stay safe and healthy, but definitely no fun.

UUFP’s Donna Polat and Rina Schunk (First Unitarian Society of Westchester) have compiled a list of virtual tours and adventures for you to enjoy. Download the list and begin your adventures by clicking here.

Borrowing eBooks & Audio Books

  • Local library cards can be used to access LIBBY (which takes you to OVERDRIVE) e-books and audio books, just like checking them out of a library. Free! I know many people are turning to books to fill time. With audio books, I can knit or cook or bake (or fold laundry) while I listen. And I don’t have to buy Audible.  I’m not sure if you want to include this type of info or not. Using the library even during this pandemic continues to show how important public libraries  are and why more funding is needed -Submitted by Margie Watters

Transportation Offer

I am volunteering to offer to drive anyone in the Fellowship who needs transportation. I have been a licensed driver for almost 60 years and am a 30-year professional driver with a Commercial Driver’s License for school buses. I have a 4 door Subaru car in good condition, I do not have any symptoms of sickness, and I have an accurate up-to-date GPS as well as being familiar with many of the roads in the local area. Passengers may sit in my back seat opposite the driver's side so that they are as far away from me as possible. My car is a station wagon so groceries or other cargo can ride in the rear compartment.
