In months with 5th Sundays, we take special collections in support of selected social justice organixations.

  • HUDSON VALLEY RE-ENTRY NETWORK

In December of 2024, every Sunday morning collection will benefit the Hudson Valley ReEntry Network.

  • HUDSON RIVER SLOOP CLEARWATER

In September of 2024, every Sunday morning collection benefited  the Hudson Valley Sloop Clearwater.

Hudson River Sloop Clearwater is a member-supported, non-profit organization whose mission is to protect the Hudson River by inspiring lifelong stewardship of the river and its tributaries with innovative advocacy through education programs.

The organization owns and operates a historic 106′ Hudson River Sloop replica, recognized as America’s Environmental Flagship. Continuing historic sloops’ tradition as a vital link between communities, Clearwater carries a message of preservation and protection of our region’s waterways to her passengers and those who see her iconic sails from the shore.

More than 50 years later, Clearwater is recognized for its award-winning environmental education programs, through which students investigate the ecology, history, and environmental challenges of the Hudson Valley– fostering generations of environmental stewards in local communities.

To date, more than half a million people have experienced their first real look at an estuary’s ecosystem aboard the sloop.

  • HOPE ON A MISSION

In June of 2024, our 5th Sunday Collection benefitted Hope on a Mission.  Founder CaraMia  spoke to the Fellowship briefly at the Sunday morning service on June 16, providing a heart felt explanation of her mission of hope.

From the website: Hope On A Mission (HOAM) is a street outreach ministry seeking to restore dignity, with love & grace, to homeless, addicted women (and men) in the streets of Poughkeepsie, NY, and beyond. We do this through acts of compassion at our Pop-up Provisions events throughout the city, four times a week, every week, all year long. People surviving homelessness, and/or addiction can get a hot meal, bottled water & snacks to-go; clean, dry, seasonally appropriate clothing and footwear, & personal hygiene items, through RELATIONSHIP, COMMUNITY, and ACCEPTANCE , no matter what.
