NOVEMBER 2, 2025: NURTURING GRATITUDE
Cara Mia Bacchiochi
Our speaker this morning will be Cara Mia Bacchiochi, founder of Hope On A Mission (HOAM).
HOAM is a street outreach ministry dedicated to restoring dignity to homeless and addicted individuals in Poughkeepsie, NY, and beyond. Through our consistent Pop-up Provisions events, we provide hot meals, clean clothing, personal hygiene items, and most importantly, love and grace.
HOAM's mission is to meet people where they are, building relationships and offering hope through genuine compassion. With the support of volunteers and the community, HOAM is committed to making a lasting impact, one life at a time.
November is a month with five Sundays, which means that every Sunday morning collection for the month goes to an organization chosen by the Social Justice Committee. This month, the 5th Sunday recipient is HOAM.

Hello, families!
It's autumn and we are just about back in full swing with our Religious Exploration program.
We are welcoming a new staff member, Maggie Halpin, who is our Children's Activities Director. Maggie was introduced to the congregation at the Ingathering Water Ceremony on September 7, and led the children in a discussion about how to make others feel welcome during the service on September 14.
We look forward to working with Maggie in weeks and months ago as we plan for Sunday mornings and special events!
